This video can help you promote your work among funders, sponsors and audiences. It can also feature on a website, Youtube, Vimeo or social networks as long as it respects copyright (music, text etc.).

This workshop is designed for:
– Stage artists (actors, dancers, musicians, performers etc.)
– Performing arts managers
– Film directors who wish to improve their skills in filming perfoming arts (dance, theatre, music etc.)

Le Labo is offering a workshop on the graphics and image editing software Photoshop, very well known by Professional Photographers and illustrators around the world. Part of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop remains the quintessential photo editing program and a necessary tool for all artists interested in the Media Arts.

André Pilon whose career in the visual arts spans over three decades will teach the workshop.

After Effects Workshop

The After Effects introduction workshop offers artists the chance to create very high quality animations and special effects.
Participants will conceive and produce a Title animation featuring their own artist name, the Labo logo, or an abstract concept of their choice.
The workshop will cover main After Effects user interface features and production methods for animated sequences. Participants will learn basing 2D and 3D animation techniques with keyframes and expressions.
There will be an opportunity to look at inspiring classical and contemporary title sequences and openings.
